Atlanta is a village in Winn Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 163 at the 2010 census. The population had been 150 at the 2000 census. Louisiana industrialist and inventor William Edenborn maintained the Emden plantation southwest of Atlanta, where he grew peanuts, cotton, and silkworms. The late State Representative Ashton B.
