WWSF (1220 AM; "The Legends") is a radio station airing an adult standards format. Licensed to Sanford, Maine, USA. The station is currently owned by Port Broadcasting. The station was silent as its transmitter failed in 2010, but returned to the air in June 2011. WWSF signed on as WSME on November 9, 1957. The call letters were changed to WPHX after being purchased by Phoenix Media/Communications Group in 1999. Its original studio was located on lower School Street in Sanford.

Sanford Regional Airport is a public airport located four miles (6 km) southeast of the central business district of Sanford, a town in York County, Maine, United States. The airport operated as Sanford Naval Auxiliary Air Facility (NAAF) supporting operations of Naval Air Station Brunswick from 15 April 1943 until 1 February 1946. This airport is now publicly owned by Town of Sanford.

Louis B. Goodall Memorial Library
The Louis B. Goodall Memorial Library is the public library serving Sanford, Maine. On June 18, 1898, the Sanford Library Association was organized to provide library service to the people of Sanford. Thomas Goodall, first president of the library association, allowed his School Street property to be used as a home for the library. It opened for the circulation of books on December 31, 1898, and on June 1, 1900 the library was made accessible to the general public free of charge.
