Deering High School
Deering High School (DHS) is a public high school in Portland, Maine which educates grades 9–12. The school is part of the Portland Public Schools district. It is named after the Deering Center neighborhood it serves. It was established in 1874. It is one of the three public high schools located in Portland, the others being Portland High School and Casco Bay High School. Memorial Stadium is located behind Deering High School, and is the home field for DHS outdoor sports teams.

The school is located on Stevens Avenue, which has the unusual distinction of having an elementary school, middle school, two high schools, and a college all situated on it.
