Southwestern Senior High School (Baltimore, Maryland)

Southwestern Senior High School was a public high school located in Baltimore, Maryland. Southwestern Senior High School opened in September 1971 and closed in June 2007. The building sat vacant for one year before the city leased the school to the SEED School of Maryland boarding school. The main classroom building was torn down along with the library and cafeteria. West Baltimore (MARC station)

West Baltimore Station is a station on the MARC Penn Line located in the western part of Baltimore City along the Amtrak Northeast Corridor. It is located at 400 North Smallwood Street at the intersections of Mulberry and Franklin Streets. Two large surface lots provide parking for patrons utilizing MARC service from the station. Under current plans, the future Red Line transit line will serve this station. The station currently serves the Penn Line.

The Corner

The Corner is a 2000 HBO drama television miniseries based on the nonfiction book The Corner: A Year in the Life of an Inner-City Neighborhood by David Simon and Ed Burns and adapted for television by Simon and David Mills. It premiered on premium cable network HBO in the United States on April 16, 2000 and concluded its six-part run on May 21, 2000. The series was released on DVD on July 22, 2003. It won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Miniseries in 2000.

Carrollton Ridge is a neighborhood of South Baltimore, Maryland, United States The area currently known as Carrollton Ridge is a residential neighborhood directly west of Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Its boundaries are roughly defined by Frederick Avenue to the north, Carroll Park to the south, Bentalou Street to the west and Fulton Avenue to the east. The neighborhood is racially diverse, though predominantly African American. The homes in Carrollton Ridge are mostly rowhouses.
