Sagamore Farm is an American Thoroughbred horse breeding farm on Belmont Avenue in Reisterstown, Baltimore County, Maryland. Established in 1925, it was owned by Margaret Emerson Vanderbilt who gave it to her son Alfred G. Vanderbilt II for his twenty-first birthday. As a member of New York's wealthy Vanderbilt family, Alfred would become the owner and president of Baltimore's Pimlico Race Course.

Oregon Ridge Park is a 1,043-acre park in Cockeysville, Maryland. The park features walking and hiking trails, a swimming beach, a nature center, picnic and recreation areas, a lodge, and cross-country skiing and sledding. The park is the location of an annual Fourth of July celebration, which includes a concert by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.

Hereford Zone, Maryland

The Hereford Zone is an area in Northern Baltimore County, Maryland, United States, constituting 20% of all of the land in Baltimore County. It includes Hereford, Parkton, Monkton, Freeland, Sparks, White Hall, Jacksonville, Upperco, and Glyndon. It is by far the most sparsely populated area in Baltimore County. Strict zoning laws prohibit any planned communities from developing, with large single-family housing lots and agricultural activity predominating.

Hereford High School (Parkton, Maryland)

Hereford High School is a four-year public high school located in the rural northern Baltimore County town of Parkton, Maryland, USA, as part of the Baltimore County Public Schools. The school was established in 1954. The school's district is the Hereford Zone. The Hereford Zone covers 233 square miles and makes up over a third of Baltimore County by area. Like those of most public schools in the region, Hereford students are transported by a busing system.

McCormick Road (Baltimore Light Rail station)

McCormick Road is a stop on the Baltimore Light Rail. Northbound trains leave this station for Hunt Valley; southbound trains leave for BWI Airport, and, during off-peak hours, Cromwell Station/Glen Burnie. It is officially located on 265 Schilling Circle, which is just west of the street it was named for. The stop is one of four within Hunt Valley, Maryland. There is currently no free public parking at this station. Connections can be made to the Route 9 (MTA Maryland) bus from here.
