Parole is a census-designated place (CDP) in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. The population was 14,031 at the 2000 census. It is where several major roads intersect at the edge of the state capital, Annapolis, and adjacent to the Annapolis Mall shopping center and Anne Arundel Medical Center. The neighborhood was named because it was a site where Union and Confederate prisoners of war were brought for mutual exchange and eventual return to their respective homes.

Crownsville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. The population was 1,670 at the 2000 census. Anne Arundel Community College

Anne Arundel Community College, founded in 1961, is located in Arnold, Maryland. The college was named "Community College of the Year" by National Business Alliance in 2000. AACC also has received many other awards in recent years.
