Aspen Hill, Maryland

Aspen Hill is a census-designated place and an unincorporated area in Montgomery County, Maryland. It got its name from aspen trees that once were found near the first post office in the area. The post office was located in a general store on what was then known as the Washington-Brookeville Pike and opened around 1864. Aspen Hill was one of the locations in which a fatal shooting took place in October 2002 as part of the Beltway sniper attacks.

Rockville High School (Maryland)

Rockville High School (RHS) is a four-year high school in Rockville, Maryland, United States. The school was founded in 1968 and its current building was completed in August, 2004. Rockville High School is based in Montgomery County, Maryland. As of 2009, enrollment was 1,243 students. Earle B. Wood Middle School is the only feeder school for Rockville High School.

Glenmont (WMATA station)

Glenmont is a Washington Metro station in Montgomery County, Maryland on the Red Line. This is the northeastern terminus of the Red Line. Glenmont is the only station on the Red Line to feature the six-coffer arch design. The six-coffer design is also seen on the Green Line. Until 2006, Glenmont was also the only station in the system lit with sodium lamps, which gave the station a warm orange glow.

Rockville Union Cemetery

Rockville Cemetery (it was never known as Rockville Union Cemetery) was established in 1738 by the Anglican Prince George's Parish. It is the oldest burying ground in Rockville, Maryland and is located at 1350 Baltimore Road, adjacent to the Rockville Civic Center. Ownership changed in 1880 to the Rockville Cemetery Association.
