The community is named for William Clark, a farmer who owned much of the land on which the community now lies. Highland, Maryland

Highland is an unincorporated community in western Howard County, Maryland which uses the 20777 zip code. The community is located at the junction of Highland Road, Maryland Route 216 and Maryland Route 108, and is still heavily influenced by its agrarian history; farms and horse fields are common in the area. River Hill High School is a public high school in Clarksville, Maryland. It is part of the Howard County public school system. It is one of the two former Technology Magnet schools in Howard County, along with Long Reach High School. It currently participates in the county-wide Career Academy initiative as a replacement to the magnet program.

River Hill, Columbia, Maryland

River Hill is the last and westernmost village to be developed in the town of Columbia, Maryland, though numerous residents have addresses in Clarksville. Construction started in 1990. It is bounded by Maryland Route 108 and Maryland Route 32, and is centered on Trotter Road. The village is divided into two neighborhoods: Pheasant Ridge and Pointers Run, with about 6,500 residents.

Reservoir High School

Reservoir High School is a public high school in Fulton, Maryland, United States. It was opened in 2002 and is a part of the Howard County public school system. The school's mascot, logo, colors, and fight song were the same as those of the University of Florida. However, as of late, a Cease and Desist was issued by the University, forcing the school to create a new logo. The school is located on Maryland Route 216, just west of U.S.
