Crocheron (Cro-Sher-on) is a small, remote unincorporated community in Dorchester County, Maryland, United States, south of Bishops Head. Crocheron has a public boat dock. Hooper Strait Light

Hooper Strait Light is one of four surviving Chesapeake Bay screw-pile lighthouses in the U.S. state of Maryland. Originally located in Hooper Strait, between Hooper and Bloodsworth Islands in Dorchester County and at the entrance to Tangier Sound, it is now an exhibit at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels, Maryland.

Bloodsworth Island

Bloodsworth Island is an island in the Chesapeake Bay. It lies in southern Dorchester County, Maryland. For much of the 20th century, it was used as a naval gunnery range. Due to extensive contamination by unexploded ordnance, the island is currently off-limits to the public.
