Harford Friends School is a co-ed K–8 independent private school guided by Quaker values located in Harford County, Maryland under the direction of Head of School, Jonathan Huxtable. Founded in 2005, it originated as a middle school located in the Deer Creek Friends Meeting House in Darlington, Maryland. The school moved in 2008 to The Highlands Commons Building in Street, Maryland, near Bel Air, Maryland. In 2009, the school expanded to include grades one through five.

Street, Maryland
Street, Maryland is a rural unincorporated area in Northern Harford County, Maryland. Street was first settled by Dutch immigrants in the early 18th century. One of the central villages in Street is Highland. The village had a station stop on the Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad, at milepost 38.6, which served the farms within the area until it ceased passenger service in 1954 and ceased freight service in 1958. The post office for Street, Maryland is located in the village of Highland.

North Harford High School is located in Pylesville, Maryland. It is one of the few schools in Harford County, Maryland to have a Future Farmers of America, and the only school in Harford County to have a barn with a semi-working farm on campus. North Harford finished undergoing renovations and additions at the beginning of the 2008 school year. Its re-dedication ceremony was held on April 13, 2008 in the new auditorium.

Whiteford is an unincorporated community in Harford County, Maryland, United States. The community has historically had a strong Welsh heritage, which is reflected in the local architecture. The town, a part of the Whiteford-Cardiff Historic District, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
