Miles River
The Miles River is a 12.9-mile-long tidal river in Talbot County, Maryland. It is a tributary of the Eastern Bay and is thus part of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. The town of St. Michaels is located on the Miles River, and the river's name is believed to be derived from the name of the town. Its watershed area is 54 square miles, of which 12 square miles is open water, so it is 22% water. The predominant land use is agricultural with 22 square miles, or 52% of the land area.

Inn at Perry Cabin
The history of the Inn at Perry Cabin dates back to the colonial era and the site of the property was one of the original land grants from the English Crown to the New World. The original Inn, built in 1816, (now the north wing of the manor house) was designed and built by Purser Samuel Hambleton, a War of 1812 Navy veteran and aide-de-camp to Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry.

Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum
The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is located in St. Michaels, Maryland, United States and is home to a collection of Chesapeake Bay artifacts, exhibitions, and vessels. This 18-acre interactive museum was founded in 1965 on Navy Point, once a site of seafood packing houses, docks, and work boats. Today, the Museum houses the world's largest collection of Chesapeake Bay boats and provides interactive exhibits in and around the 35 buildings which dot the campus.

Saint Michaels, Maryland
Saint Michaels is a town in Talbot County, Maryland, USA. The population was 1,029 at the 2010 census. Saint Michaels derives its name from the Episcopal Parish established here in 1677. The church attracted settlers who engaged in tobacco growing and ship building.
