Cheverly is a side platformed Washington Metro station in Cheverly, Maryland, United States. The station was opened on November 20, 1978, and is operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). Providing service for the Orange Line, the station is the first station going east in Maryland on the Orange Line. The station is in a residential area of Cheverly at Columbia Park Road near U.S. Route 50. It is a commuter station with 530 parking spaces.

Cheverly is a town in Prince George's County, Maryland, just outside Washington, D.C. , United States. The town was founded in 1918, and it was incorporated in 1931. Cheverly had 6,173 residents as of the 2010 Census. There is a Washington Metro station in the southern part of Cheverly, on Columbia Park Road. This station is on the Orange Line. Cheverly is home to the Prince George's Hospital Center and the Publick Playhouse for the Performing Arts. Cheverly's ZIP codes are 20784 and 20785.

Deanwood is an island platformed Washington Metro station in the Deanwood neighborhood of Northeast Washington, D.C. , United States. The station was opened on November 20, 1978, and is operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). Providing service for the Orange Line, the station is the final eastbound station in the District at Minnesota Avenue and 48th Street. It is architecturally similar to its sister station, Minnesota Avenue.

The town was formally incorporated in 1935, making the town the second oldest African-American-majority municipality in Prince George's County. Bladensburg High School

Bladensburg High School is a secondary school located in Bladensburg, Maryland. The school, which serves grades 9 through 12, is a part of the Prince George's County Public Schools district. Bladensburg High School's history dates back to 1936, when the high school became a four-year school. Bladensburg's old facility was torn down after school let out for summer 2001; a new facility was built in its place and opened in 2005.
