Laytonsville is a town in Montgomery County, Maryland, United States. The population was 353 at the 2010 census. Laytonsville was originally known as Cracklintown. This name originated from the popular cracklin bread, which was baked in the locale. This recipe, essentially a bacon corn bread, also lent the entire area the name of Cracklin District. Laytonsville was incorporated in 1892.

Montgomery County Airpark
Montgomery County Airpark is a public airport located three miles (5 km) northeast of the city of Gaithersburg, in Montgomery County, Maryland, USA. The airport was built by developer William E. Richardson in 1960. Richardson deeded title to the land to Montgomery County, which leased the land back to Richardson to operate the airport. Richardson planned to operate charter flights and an air taxi to National Airport, Baltimore's Friendship Airport, and the soon-to-be-opened Dulles Airport.
