Snipatuit Pond
Snipatuit Pond is a shallow 710-acre warm water pond in Rochester, Massachusetts. The average depth is five feet and the maximum depth is six feet, except for one very small nine foot hole near the pump station on the west shore. The pond is the headwaters of the Mattapoisett River. The inflow comes from two sources: Cedar Swamp, which is located to the northeast, and Great Quittacas Pond, which is connected to Snipatuit Pond and located to the northwest.

WLWC is the CW affiliate for Providence, Rhode Island, licensed to New Bedford, Massachusetts. It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 22 from a transmitter in the Ashley Heights section of East Freetown, Massachusetts. Owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group, the station has studios on Westminster Street in Downtown Providence. It is one of two major Rhode Island stations with facilities in Providence despite being licensed to the Massachusetts side of the market.
