Craigville Beach, Barnstable
Craigville Beach is part of Vineyard Sound. It is located in Craigville and is a very popular tourist hot spot on Cape Cod. Unlike many private Cape beaches which offer parking to residents only, Craigville is a public beach area, available to non-residents for a daily parking fee. In the summer, Kite surfing is extremely popular. Craigville beach consists of two separate beaches. The public beach, Craigville Beach and the private beach, Covell's Beach.

Centerville, Massachusetts
Centerville is a village in the Town of Barnstable, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. Located on the south side of Barnstable, Centerville is primarily residential, includes a small business district, notable beaches, and a school (Centerville Elementary). Centerville contains the neighborhood of Craigville, which includes Craigville beach. Centerville village also is the home to the Eastern College Athletic Conference offices. Centerville was originally named Chequaquet (meaning pleasant harbor).

W. Leo Shields Memorial Field
W. Leo Shields Memorial Field is the sports field on the campus of Barnstable High School, in the Cape Cod area. It is named after W. Leo Shields, who was an all-star athlete, coach, athletic director, and many other things during his 48 years of life. It is home to the Barnstable Red Raiders and formerly to the Cape Cod Crusaders. Current plans are for an expansion to be completed in the coming years. These plans include a new press box and expanded bleachers for the opposing teams.

Barnstable Intermediate School
Barnstable Intermediate School is a combination elementary/middle school (Grades 6-7) in Barnstable, Massachusetts. It is located on Route 28 in the village of Hyannis in Barnstable. Originally named Barnstable Middle School from 1976–1992, the school changed its name to Barnstable Middle School at Hyannis because of the building of a middle school in Marstons Mills. The school reverted back to its original name in 2003 after the school system was reorganized.
