Mount Watatic is a 1,832 foot monadnock located on the Massachusetts-New Hampshire border, at the southern end of the Wapack Range of mountains. It lies within Ashburnham, Massachusetts, Ashby, Massachusetts, and New Ipswich, New Hampshire; the 22 miles Wapack Trail and the 92 miles Midstate Trail both cross the mountain. The Yellow Arrow trail is 1.1 miles.

Cushing Academy

Cushing Academy is a coeducational college preparatory boarding school for grades 9 through 12 plus an optional postgraduate year located in Ashburnham, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1865 in fulfilment of a bequest by Thomas Parkman Cushing and opened in 1875, and is sometimes cited as the oldest coeducational boarding school in the United States. Dr. James Tracy has been headmaster since fall 2006.

Lake Monomonac

Lake Monomonac is an artificial lake that straddles the border between Rindge, New Hampshire and Winchendon, Massachusetts. It was created from a small pond in New Hampshire by the construction of dams on the North Branch of the Millers River, a part of the Connecticut River watershed. Lake Monomonac is 594 acres in size with 410 acres in New Hampshire and the remaining 184 acres in Massachusetts. The lake has a maximum recorded depth of twenty-five feet and an average depth of ten feet.

Pratt Mountain

Pratt Mountain is a 1,817 feet summit within the Wapack Range of mountains in south-central New Hampshire, United States. It lies within the town of New Ipswich and is traversed by the 22 mi Wapack Trail. The subordinate peak, Stony Top, 1,760 feet, forms the north shoulder of the mountain. Pratt Mountain offers expansive views from rocky ledges along its length.
