Agawam is a city in Hampden County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 28,438 at the 2010 census. Agawam sits on the western side of the Connecticut River, directly across from the City of Springfield, Massachusetts. It is considered part of the Springfield Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is contiguous with the Knowledge Corridor area, the 2nd largest metropolitan area in New England. Flashback (Six Flags New England)
Flashback is a steel roller coaster of shuttle design currently in use at Six Flags New England. The ride has one train with a capacity of twenty-eight riders, two across in each row. When the coaster starts, the train is pulled backwards up the lift hill, then dropped through the loading gate through a cobra roll and then one loop.

Thunderbolt (Six Flags New England)
Thunderbolt is a wooden roller coaster located at Six Flags New England. Opened in 1941, It was designed by Harry Baker and Harry Traver, and built by Joseph Drambour. Thunderbolt is the oldest roller coaster at Six Flags New England. It is also the oldest roller coaster in any Six Flags park (the Wild One at Six Flags America is much older, but was relocated from another park). The single PTC train has 4 cars, and an individual lap bar and seatbelt for each person.
