Chambers Island

Chambers Island, named in honor of Col. Talbot Chambers, is a 2,834 acre (4.428 sq. mi. ) island in Green Bay, about 7 miles off the coast of the Door Peninsula, near Gibraltar, Wisconsin. It is part of the Town of Gibraltar in Door County. Approximately 1/8 (12.3%) of the island's area is taken up by shallow 348.73-acre Mackaysee Lake, in the northeastern part of the island. There is a smaller lake to the west of Mackaysee Lake called Mud Lake. There are two islands in Mackaysee Lake.

DeYoung Family Zoo

The DeYoung Family Zoo is a zoo that opened to the public in 1990. It is located in Wallace, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan about 15 miles north of Menominee. The zoo is owned by Bud DeYoung and Carrie Cramer. The facility has many exotic felines, and provides visitor interactions, as well as baby animals to pet and bottle feed. The zoo has a license to breed the cats.

Stephenson is a city in Menominee County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 862 at the 2010 census. The city is located within Stephenson Township and is part of the Marinette, WI–MI Micropolitan Statistical Area.

Strawberry Islands

The Strawberry Islands, are a small chain of four islands located on the Wisconsin side of Green Bay between Chambers Island and Peninsula State Park. The islands are part of the Town of Gibraltar, Wisconsin. The islands were likely occupied for thousands of years by indigenous peoples. Gradually the historic Ojibwe people moved into the area around the Great Lakes, where they competed with the existing Sioux (Lakota).
