Chauncey, previously known as Buena Vista and Imperial Mills is an unincorporated, mostly historical settlement in Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is on the boundary between Cannon Township and Plainfield Township at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:43|03|01|N|85|33|01|W|region:US-MI_type:city_scale:30000_source:GNIS | |name= }}, several miles northeast of Grand Rapids. It is situated near the south end of Chauncey Road where Bear Creek enters the Grand River.

Kent County, Michigan
Kent County is a county in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is part of the Grand Rapids–Wyoming Metropolitan Statistical Area. Grand Rapids is the county seat. As of the 2010 census, the county had a population of 602,622. It is named for New York jurist and legal scholar James Kent, who represented the Michigan Territory in its dispute with Ohio over the Toledo Strip. It was set off in 1831, and organized in 1836.

WLAV-FM
WLAV-FM is a radio station broadcasting a classic rock music format in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is the dominant classic rock-formatted radio station in the market and is generally a top ten performer in the Grand Rapids ratings. WLAV-AM went on the air in 1940. In 1949, WLAV-TV 7 signed on, later becoming WOOD-TV 8. WLAV-FM began broadcasting by 1948. The station was a simulcast of WLAV 1340 in its early days, but began to break the simulcast in the early 1970s to play AOR music at night.

Northview, Michigan
Northview is an unincorporated community in Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is defined as a census-designated place (CDP) for statistical purposes and does not have any legal status as an incorporated municipality. The population was 14,730 at the 2000 census. The CDP is almost entrirely within Plainfield Charter Township and consists of the area north of the boundary with Grand Rapids and Grand Rapids Township and south of the Grand River.

Lake Bella Vista (Michigan)
Lake Bella Vista is in northwest Cannon Township, Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The lake was originally known as "Grass Lake" and once lay in the center of a marsh surrounded by pastureland as well as apple and cherry orchards. Grass Lake was one of the so-called "triplet lakes" lying along M-44. Its sister lakes to the east are Silver Lake and Bostwick Lake.
