Ford River Rouge Complex

The Ford River Rouge Complex (commonly known as the Rouge Complex or just The Rouge) is a Ford Motor Company automobile factory complex located in Dearborn, Michigan, along the Rouge River, upstream from its confluence with the Detroit River at Zug Island. Construction began in 1917, and when it was completed in 1928 it had become the largest integrated factory in the world.

Dearborn Mosque

Dearborn Mosque is a mosque belonging to the American Muslim Society (الجمعية الإسلامية الامريكية) in Dearborn, Michigan. It was built in 1937 by the nascent Islamic community (then mostly Sunni Muslims from the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon), and was only the second mosque constructed in the United States. The building is three stories high and almost an entire city block on the intersection of Vernor and Dix Streets. The number of people attending grew rapidly through the 1960s to 1980s.

Dearborn, Michigan

Dearborn is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is located in the Detroit metropolitan area and in Wayne County. Dearborn is the eighth largest city in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 98,153. First settled in the late 18th century by French farmers in a series of ribbon farms along the Rouge River and the Sauk Trail, the community grew with the establishment of the Detroit Arsenal on the Chicago Road linking Detroit and Chicago.
