Lake Ann, Michigan

Lake Ann is a village in Benzie County of the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 268 at the 2010 census. The village is located within Almira Township. Lake Ann is located 12 miles west of Traverse City a beautiful, year-round resort community in northwest lower Michigan. Lake Ann has public services of a post office, library and a town hall. Inland Township, Michigan

Inland Township is a civil township of Benzie County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,587 at the 2000 census. The township is located in the east central portion of the county. The township was organized by the Grand Traverse County board of supervisors under the name North Climax in April 1867 when Benzie County was still attached to Grand Traverse for administrative purposes. The name was changed to Inland in 1869.
