Lake Erie Metropark

Lake Erie Metropark is a park in the Huron-Clinton system of metro parks. The park is a 1,607-acre recreational facility located at the mouth of the Huron River on Lake Erie and consists of meadows, a marsh and lagoons. It has a three-mile (5 km) shoreline along the lake and is a popular bird-watching site. The Park has a wave action swimming pool, an 18-hole regulation golf course, the Marshlands Museum and Nature Center, boat launches and a marina.

WWJ (AM)

WWJ (950 AM, "Newsradio 950") is Detroit, Michigan's only 24-hour all-news radio station. Broadcasting at 950 kHz, the station is owned and operated by CBS Corporation subsidiary CBS Radio. The station first went on the air on August 20, 1920 with the call sign 8MK. It is believed to be the first station to broadcast news reports regularly as well as the first regularly scheduled religious broadcast and play-by-play sports broadcast.

Huron River (Michigan)

The Huron River is a 130-mile-long river in southeastern Michigan, rising out of the Huron Swamp in Indian Springs Metropark in northern Oakland County and flowing into Lake Erie on the boundary between Wayne County and Monroe County. In addition to thirteen parks, game areas, and recreation areas, the river passes through the cities of Dexter, Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Belleville, Flat Rock and Rockwood.
