Level Park-Oak Park, Michigan

Level Park-Oak Park is a census-designated place for statistical purposes in Calhoun County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The CDP population was 3,605 at the 2000 census. The CDP is immediately northwest of the city of Battle Creek and is part of the Battle Creek Metropolitan Statistical Area. The CDP includes the unincorporated areas known as Level Park and Oak Park in Bedford Charter Township along M-89, just north of the Kalamazoo River.

Custer Air Force Station is a closed United States Air Force General Surveillance Radar and Direction Center station. It is located 5.3 miles west-northwest of Battle Creek, Michigan. It was closed in 1965.

Urbandale Elementary

Urbandale Elementary is a K-5 school located in Battle Creek, Michigan. It is part of the Battle Creek Public School system. With over 350 students, Urbandale is one of the largest elementary schools in the system. Urbandale Elementary was recently awarded the highest level of green certification possible for a building: the EPA Energy Star rating. The award is a testament to the hard work that has been undertaken to make sure the carbon footprint of the school is not impacting the environment.
