Lovells Township, Michigan
Lovells Township is a civil township of Crawford County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 578 at the 2000 census. It is home to the famous Lovells bridge walk. Lovells is an unincorporated community in the township on the north branch of the Au Sable River at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:44|48|11|N|84|28|55|W|region:US-MI_type:city_scale:30000_source:GNIS | |name=Lovells }}. Crawford County, Michigan
Crawford County is a county in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the population was 14,074. The county seat is Grayling. The County is named for Col. William Crawford, a Revolutionary War soldier killed in 1782 while fighting Native Americans in Ohio. It was set off in 1840 as Shawono County, but renamed Crawford in 1843. Heart Lake, Michigan is located in Otsego County in northern Michigan, about 9 miles south of Gaylord, just west of Interstate 75. Heart Lake is so named due to its irregular shape of a valentine heart. Heart Lake comprises about 63 acres, has a maximum depth of 123 feet . The lake is a classic example of a kettle lake, many of which dot the landscape in this area. The lake holds healthy populations of splake, rainbow trout, bass, northern pike, and perch, and is popular with area fishermen.
