Saline River (Michigan)
The Saline River is a 45.6-mile-long river in southeastern Michigan in the United States. A tributary of the River Raisin, it originates in Washtenaw County; flows through the cities of Saline and Milan, where it enters Monroe County; then joins the River Raisin at the village of Dundee. Although named after the city of Saline, which was once famous for its salt springs, the Saline River is not at all salty.

Both the village and township are named in honor of DeWitt Clinton, the governor of New York from 1817 to 1823. The current mayor of Clinton is Merlin Mowrey.

Hidden Lake Gardens
Hidden Lake Gardens colloquially known as Hidden Lake 755 acres, is a botanical garden and an arboretum operated by Michigan State University situated in the Irish Hills of southeast Michigan. The Gardens are known for their large collection of native and nonnative trees, shrubs and flowers. HLG was given to Michigan State University by Harry Fee in 1945. Today it is visited by nearly 45,000 people annually.
