Bath School disaster

The Bath School disaster is the historical name of the violent attacks perpetrated by Andrew Kehoe on May 18, 1927 in Bath Township, Michigan that killed 38 elementary school children and 6 adults, and injured at least 58 other people. Kehoe first killed his wife, fire-bombed his farm and set off a major explosion in the Bath Consolidated School, before committing suicide by detonating a final explosion in his truck. It is the deadliest mass murder in a school in United States history.

Tamarisk is the name of a neighborhood in the city of East Lansing, Michigan. It was constructed during the 1960s. Tamarisk's current population is approximately 350. The neighborhood is bordered by Harrison Avenue to the west, Lake Lansing Road to the north, Riveria Avenue to the east, and Tamarisk Drive to the south. Tamarisk includes a public park called Tamarisk Park. It has a basketball court, a soccer field, swings, slides, and a volleyball court. The size of the park is 2.3 acres .

East Lansing High School

East Lansing High School is a public high school in the city of East Lansing, Michigan, United States. It is managed by the East Lansing Public Schools district. The school, located about a mile north of the Michigan State University campus, was originally built in 1956 after moving from the current Hannah Community Center facility. Beaumont Tower

Beaumont Tower designed by the architectural firm of Donaldson and Meier, is a structure on the campus of Michigan State University. The 104-foot-tall tower marks the site of College Hall, the first building in America erected for instruction in scientific agriculture. During its dedication ceremony the president of the college described Beaumont Tower as "a meeting or trysting place of the students, student groups or organizations, the center of all the activities of this institution.
