Gaylord is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 3,645 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Otsego County. The city is also the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Gaylord; it is by far the smallest settlement serving as the location of an active Roman Catholic cathedral in the United States.
