Formerly Lakeville High School, LNHS received its current name when a second high school, Lakeville South High School, was built. Grades 9-12 attend the school, and its principal is Marne Bervam. Lakeville Cedar (MVTA station)
The Lakeville Cedar Station is a park and ride bus station along Cedar Avenue/County Road 23 in Lakeville, Minnesota. It was originally planned as the southernmost station on the METRO Red Line bus rapid transit service when that opens in 2013, but service is now planned to begin at Lakeville Cedar at a later date. Limited express bus service began operating began at the site on September 28, 2009. The line may be expanded further south to 195th & 215th Street stations in a future phase.

Airlake Airport is a public airport located in the southern suburbs of the Twin Cities in Minnesota, near the communities of Lakeville and Farmington in Dakota County, about 22 miles (35 km) south of the central business district of Minneapolis. It is owned by the Metropolitan Airports Commission. Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, Airlake Airport is assigned LVN by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA.

The Kenrick Avenue Park and Ride is a 750-space parking ramp in Lakeville, Minnesota. The three-level park-and-ride ramp is located on the site of a former Minnesota Department of Transportation weigh station, on the east side of Interstate Highway 35 at Kenrick Avenue and 167th Street West, about two miles south of the point where I-35E and I-35W divide.
