KRBT

KRBT is a radio station broadcasting a sports format. Licensed to Eveleth, Minnesota, USA, the station serves the Iron Range area. The station is currently owned by Red Rock Radio, and features programing from the Minneapolis-based FAN Radio Network. Formally a Talk station, the format change was made following the sale to Red Rock Radio. Red Rock's KQDS (AM) also carries the FAN Network.

Eveleth, Minnesota

Eveleth is a city in Saint Louis County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 3,718 at the 2010 census. U.S. Highway 53 and State Highway 37 are two of the main arterial routes in the city. The city briefly entered the national news in October 2002 when U.S. Senator Paul Wellstone, along with seven others, died in a plane crash, two miles away from the airport of Eveleth. It was also the site of the conflict that resulted in the court case Jenson v. Eveleth Taconite Co.

United States Hockey Hall of Fame

The United States Hockey Hall of Fame was established in 1973 with the goal of preserving the rich history of ice hockey in the United States while recognizing the extraordinary contributions of select players, coaches, administrators, officials and teams. It is located in Eveleth, an iron mining suburb of Virginia, a county seat in northeastern Minnesota.

WEEP (defunct)

WEEP is a radio station formerly licensed to serve Virginia, Minnesota. The FCC license, most recently held by Full Armor Ministries, Inc. , expired on August 1, 2005. The station last aired a Religious radio format. The station began broadcasting in 1936, with a power of 250 watts. It was the ninth oldest station in Minnesota. The station was purchased in 1951 by Frank P. Befera, a pioneer in Minnesota broadcasting.
