Rollag, Minnesota

Rollag is an unincorporated community in Clay County, Minnesota, United States. The community is located northeast of Barnesville and south of Hawley on Minnesota State Highway 32. Rollag is home to the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion. The event is hosted on Labor Day weekend every year. The town is also home to the 'Field of Dreams', a softball park that has a beautiful view of the rolling hills in the background.

WMSTR

WMSTR, or the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion, is an annual, non-profit "steam meet" held in the small town of Rollag, Minnesota. It takes place over the weekend of the US Labor Day holiday (first Monday in September), and draws around 80,000 visitors during the four days of the event. Beginning in 1954, the reunion has grown from a few farmers threshing grain, as their fathers had, to one of the largest steam venues in the nation.

KVRR

KVRR, channel 15, is the Fox-affiliated television station for Fargo, North Dakota, serving eastern North Dakota, northwestern Minnesota and southern Manitoba. It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 19 from a transmitter near Rollag, Minnesota. The station can also be seen on cable channel 10 in most areas of the market. There is a high definition signal offered on Midcontinent digital channel 610 and CableOne digital channel 475.

Silver Lake (Clay County, Minnesota)

Silver Lake is a small freshwater prairie lake in Northwestern Minnesota. It is located three miles (5 km) south of the town of Hawley. The lake has one public access located off County Road 12 which includes a boat ramp, small grass beach. and parking for around 5 vehicles. Its proximity to the Fargo-Moorhead metro area and the lakes' area makes it attractive for recreational use. It sees relatively heavy use for activities such as fishing, swimming, and water sports.

WDAY (AM)

WDAY is North Dakota's first and oldest radio station, having signed on in 1922. It is an affiliate of the ABC Radio Network. Its parent company, Forum Communications, also owns ABC affiliate WDAY-TV 6 and The Forum newspaper in Fargo. Forum Communications also owns ABC affiliate WDAZ-TV 8 in Grand Forks and several other newspapers and TV stations in North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
