Pettis County, Missouri

Pettis County is a county located in west central Missouri in the United States. As of the 2010 U.S. Census, the population was 42,201. Its county seat is Sedalia. The county was organized January 24, 1833, and named after former U.S. Representative Spencer Darwin Pettis. The county is home to the site of the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia.

Sedalia (Amtrak station)

The Sedalia Amtrak station is a train station in Sedalia, Missouri, United States served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. It was originally built by the Missouri Pacific Railroad. Sedalia was also once served by the former Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad Depot at East 3rd Street & Thompson Avenue. Now it is part of the Katy Trail State Park.
