Gasconade River

The Gasconade River is about 280 miles long and is located in central and south-central Missouri in the United States. The Gasconade River begins in the Ozarks southeast of Hartville in Wright County and flows generally north-northeastwardly through Wright, Laclede, Pulaski, Phelps, Maries, Osage and Gasconade counties, through portions of the Mark Twain National Forest. It flows into the Missouri River near the town of Gasconade in Gasconade County.

Diggins, Missouri

Diggins is a village in Webster County, Missouri, United States. The population was 299 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Springfield, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. The small community, which once had two grocery stores, two gas stations, a feed mill and a bank until the Great Depression, is located halfway between Fordland and Seymour on U.S. 60. Diggins has its own water and sewer system for residents inside its city limits.

Webster County is a county located in Southwest Missouri. As of the 2000 U.S. Census, the population was 31,045. The population increased to 36,202 as of the 2010 U.S. Census. Its county seat is Marshfield. The county was organized in 1855 and named for U.S. Senator and U.S. Secretary of State Daniel Webster. Webster County is part of the Springfield Metropolitan Statistical Area.

KSPR

KSPR, virtual channel 33, is the ABC-affiliated television station for the Ozark Plateau area of Southwestern Missouri that is licensed to Springfield. It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 19 from a transmitter in Fordland. Owned by Perkin Media, it is operated by Schurz Communications of South Bend, Indiana through a shared services agreement (SSA) as sister station to NBC affiliate KYTV and low-powered CW affiliate K15CZ.
