Rosati, Missouri

Rosati, Missouri is a small, unincorporated community on Missouri Supplemental Route ZZ in eastern Phelps County four miles (6 km) east of St. James. This road is also former U.S. Highway 66. The community was originally settled after 1845 and was known as Knobview, due to its view of three knobs or hills. Italian immigrants moved here starting in 1898, and in 1934 renamed the postoffice after the first bishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Saint Louis, the Italian-born Joseph Rosati.

Bourbeuse River

The Bourbeuse River (French for 'muddy') is a river located in east-central Missouri, in the Ozarks region, and is one of two major tributaries of the Meramec River, the other being the Big River. The Bourbeuse flows to the northeast from its source near the locale of Dillon in Phelps County, through Maries County, Gasconade County, Crawford County, and Franklin County, where it discharges into the Meramec River near Moselle .

Northwye, Missouri

Northwye is a former community in Phelps County, Missouri, United States. It lies at the north junction of U.S. Routes 63 and 66 just north of Rolla. The name refers to the Y-intersection of the two roads north of town. Several homes are still in the area.

Fanning, Missouri

Fanning is an unincorporated community in western Crawford County, Missouri, United States. It lies along former U.S. Route 66, now Missouri Supplemental Route ZZ, five miles (8 km) west of Cuba. Fanning is also home to the world's largest rocking chair, located outside of the Fanning 66 Outpost. Fanning is named for John Fanning, originally of Limerick, Ireland.
