Clark is unincorporated, and has no specific central "town site" per se, or town services. It is included in the Powell Zip Code area, which is approximately 30 miles (50 km) away, but has no other formal connection to Powell. Clark is a community with close relationships among the roughly 300 full-time residents (who share approximate 50 square miles of real estate).

Belfry, Montana

Belfry is a census-designated place (CDP) in Carbon County, Montana, United States. It is part of the Billings, Montana Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 219 at the 2000 census. It is located approximately 11 miles from the Wyoming border, roughly halfway between Billings, Montana and Cody, Wyoming. Belfry is predominantly an agricultural community. The primary crops are sugar beets, alfalfa, and feed corn. Ranchers raise cattle and sheep.

Elk Basin

Elk Basin is a valley on the border of Montana and Wyoming in the United States. It is an active oil field with hundreds of derricks operating in it. Geologically, it is a breached anticline formed by a deep subsurface thrust fault. Most of the rocks at the surface are Cretaceous in age, including the Lance Formation, Meeteetse Formation, Mesaverde Formation, Cody Shale, and Frontier Formation.

Bearcreek, Montana

Bearcreek is a town in Carbon County, Montana, United States. It is part of the Billings, Montana Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 79 at the 2010 census. The town of Bearcreek was named for Bear Creek, which runs through the middle of town. The town is home to the Bear Creek Saloon which hosts fund raising pig races throughout the year.

Bear Creek Saloon and Steakhouse

Bear Creek Saloon and Steakhouse is a restaurant in the small town of Bear Creek, Montana. The Saloon is family owned by (Bobby) Pits & Lynn DeArmond since it was purchased in 1982. The restaurant houses fund-raising pig races throughout the year that uses full grown pigs in the summer and piglets in the winter, which are overseen by the Carbon County Health Department and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
