Lake Koocanusa
Lake Koocanusa is a reservoir in British Columbia and Montana formed by the damming of the Kootenai River by the Libby Dam in 1975. The lake is formed north of the dam, reaching 48 miles to the Canadian border and 42 miles further into British Columbia. The lake holds 13% of the water in the Columbia River system. The town of Rexford was moved, as well as the Great Northern Railroad line. The town of Waldo, BC is now covered by the lake.

Lake Koocanusa Scenic Byway
The Lake Koocanusa Scenic Byway is a 67-mile scenic highway in Lincoln County, Montana, USA, following the Kootenai River and the eastern shore of Lake Koocanusa on Highway 37. The road starts in Libby and proceeds north to Eureka. Lake Koocanusa is formed behind Libby Dam and has a visitors center nearby. The Kootenai River and Lake Koocanusa cut a narrow fjord-like gorge between the Purcell Mountains and the Salish Mountains.

Libby Dam is a dam on the Kootenai River in the U.S. state of Montana. Dedicated on August 24, 1975, Libby Dam spans the Kootenai River 17 miles upstream from the town of Libby, Montana. Libby Dam is 422 feet tall and 3,055 feet long. Lake Koocanusa is the name of the reservoir behind the dam; it extends 90 miles upriver from the dam and has a maximum depth of about 370 feet . Forty-two miles (68 km) of Lake Koocanusa are in British Columbia, Canada.

KTNY is a radio station licensed to serve Libby, Montana. The station is owned by Lincoln County Broadcasters. It airs an adult hits, smooth gold music format. KTNY and KLCB share studios at 251 W Cedar St. in Libby. They also share a transmitter site south of town on Spencer Road. KTNY is Lincoln County's most powerful station.
