Polebridge, Montana

Polebridge is an unincorporated community in Flathead County, Montana, United States, 35 miles northwest of Columbia Falls in the northwestern part of the state. This community is named for the log bridge that formerly connected the North Fork Road in Glacier National Park to Montana Secondary Highway 486, over the North Fork Flathead River. Polebridge lies near the Canadian border.

Big Prairie (Montana)

Big Prairie, Montana, el. 3,625 feet, is an open meadow area on the east side of the North Fork of the Flathead River, in Glacier National Park and is a former settlement. It is within Flathead County, Montana. It was settled by at least 19 homesteads in the early 20th century. It is the location of several places listed on the National Register of Historic Places: Margaret McCarthy Homestead J. K.

Bowman Lake (Montana)

Bowman Lake is in the northwestern portion of Glacier National Park in Montana. It is not commonly visited by most visitors to Glacier National Park, because it is located in one of the more remote areas of the park. It is more well-known among local residents, though, who use the small, uncrowded campground. The lake is accessed via a 6 miles unpaved road from the small town of Polebridge.
