Going-to-the-Sun Mountain

Going-to-the-Sun Mountain (9,642 feet) is located in Glacier National Park (U.S. ) and rises dramatically above St. Mary Valley just north of the Going-to-the-Sun Road. The mountain was named by James Willard Schultz in 1888.

Big Drift

The Big Drift is in Glacier National Park, in the U.S. state of Montana and is an area along the Going-to-the-Sun Road where a large amount of winter snow can accumulate to depths of 80 feet . Located immediately east of Logan Pass, the westerly winds push snow over the crest of the Continental Divide onto the eastern flank of a long arête which extends south from Pollock Mountain. West of the divide, this arête is known as the Garden Wall.

Mount Siyeh

Mount Siyeh, with a height of 10,014 feet, is the fifth tallest and one of six peaks over 10,000 feet in Glacier National Park, Montana, United States. Mount Siyeh was named after a Blackfoot Indian, Sai-yeh, whose name means "Crazy Dog" or "Mad Wolf. " Mount Siyeh stands about two miles east of the Continental Divide, within the watershed of the Saint Mary River, which drains into the Saskatchewan River, and ultimately into Hudson Bay.
