Hall County is part of the Grand Island, Nebraska, Micropolitan Statistical Area. In the Nebraska license plate system, Hall County is represented by the prefix 8 (it had the eighth-largest number of vehicles registered in the county when the license plate system was established in 1922).

Shelton is a village in Buffalo County, Nebraska, United States. It is part of the Kearney, Nebraska Micropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,059 at the 2010 census.
