Gardnerville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Douglas County, Nevada, United States, adjacent to the county seat of Minden. The population was 5,656 at the 2010 census. U.S. Route 395 runs through the center of Gardnerville. State Route 207, known as Kingsbury Grade, connects Gardnerville to Stateline and U.S. Route 50.

Fredericksburg (also, Frederickburg and Fredricksburg) is an unincorporated community in Alpine County, California. It is located 4 miles north-northeast of Woodfords, at an elevation of 5072 feet (1546 m). The town developed in the 1860s. A post office operated at Fredericksburg from 1898 to 1911.

Minden, Nevada

Minden is a census-designated place (CDP) in Douglas County, Nevada, United States. The population was 3,001 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Douglas County and is adjacent to the city of Gardnerville. It is named after the town of Minden, in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It has possessed a post office since 1906. US Highway 395 runs through Minden. It is also the terminus of State Route 88, which becomes California State Route 88 on the west side of the state line.
