Ashuelot, New Hampshire

Ashuelot is an unincorporated village in the town of Winchester near the southwestern corner of New Hampshire. The village is named after the Ashuelot River, which flows through it. New Hampshire Route 119 passes through the village connecting Hinsdale to the west and the village of Winchester to the east. A covered bridge crosses the Ashuelot River at the village. Ashuelot has a separate ZIP code (03441) from the rest of the town of Winchester.

WRLP Tower

WRLP Tower is a 663 foot (202.1 m) high guyed television mast at Winchester, New Hampshire, United States. WRLP Tower was built in 1966 and is the tallest man-made construction in the state of New Hampshire. WRLP signed off in March 1978, however the tower remains standing to this day. The tower bears FCC registration number, 1023108 The original tower was built for WRLP's debut on May 15, 1957, but was destroyed when a small aircraft struck a guy wire in August 1966.

Mirey Brook

Mirey Brook is a 6.5 mile long (10.5 km) stream located in southwestern New Hampshire in the United States. It is a tributary of the Ashuelot River, itself a tributary of the Connecticut River, which flows to Long Island Sound. Mirey Brook begins in the town of Warwick, Massachusetts, at the confluence of Mountain Brook and Kidder Brook at the foot of Mount Grace.

Schell Bridge

The Schell Bridge is a steel Pennsylvania truss bridge across the Connecticut River in the town of Northfield, Massachusetts. It has a close history with Northfield Mount Hermon, an elite preparatory school in the town. It was designed by Edward S. Shaw. The bridge was closed in 1987, and steel plates were welded across each portal to prevent access.
