Isinglass River

The Isinglass River is a 15-mile-long river in Strafford County in southeastern New Hampshire, United States. It rises at Bow Lake in the town of Strafford, but is also fed through its tributaries by Ayer's, Nippo, Round and Long ponds in Barrington. The Isinglass flows east to meet the Cochecho River below Rochester. The river is part of the Piscataqua River watershed. In History of the Town of Rochester, N.H.

Gonic, New Hampshire

Gonic is a neighborhood in the city of Rochester in Strafford County, New Hampshire, United States. It is located around a dam on the Cocheco River, 2 miles south of downtown Rochester. The village is separated from the downtown area of Rochester by New Hampshire Route 16, the Spaulding Turnpike. New Hampshire Route 125 passes to the west of the village, leading south towards East Barrington and the Lee traffic circle. Gonic has a separate ZIP code (03839) from other parts of Rochester.
