East Lempster, New Hampshire

East Lempster is an unincorporated village in the town of Lempster in Sullivan County, New Hampshire. The village is located at the intersection of New Hampshire Route 10 with the Second New Hampshire Turnpike, a country road leading northwest to Lempster village, the town of Unity, and the city of Claremont. Route 10 connects East Lempster with Newport to the north and Marlow and Keene to the south.

Stevens High School (New Hampshire)

Stevens High School is the only public high school in Claremont, New Hampshire. It is in the center of the city on the corners of Broad and Summer streets. It was founded in 1868, the result of a $20,000 donation by Paran Stevens, donated to Claremont with the proviso that the city appropriate a like sum. In the early 1990s, the school gained status as the host to one of the earlier Apple Macintosh user groups, primarily attended by high school faculty.
