WERZ is a radio station located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, located at 107.1 on the FM dial. On air it is presented as "Z107". The station went on the air September 21, 1972 as WKXR-FM. In March 1982 the call letters were changed to WERZ, with the slogan "Z107... the continuous music FM". The format also changed to CHR. The first program director was Jack O'Brien. The studios were located at 11 Downing Court in Exeter.

Great Bay (New Hampshire)

Great Bay is a tidal estuary located in Strafford and Rockingham counties in eastern New Hampshire, United States. The bay occupies over 6,000 acres, not including its several tidal river tributaries. Its outlet is at Hilton Point in Dover, New Hampshire, where waters from the bay flow into the Piscataqua River, thence proceeding southeast to the Atlantic Ocean near Portsmouth. The northern end of the bay, near its outlet, is referred to as Little Bay.

Squamscott River

The Squamscott River is a 6-mile-long tidal river in Rockingham County, southeastern New Hampshire, in the United States. It rises at Exeter, fed by the Exeter River. The Squamscott runs north between Newfields and Stratham to Great Bay, a tidal estuary, which is connected to the Piscataqua River, a tidal inlet of the Atlantic Ocean.

Lamprey River

The Lamprey River is a 50.2-mile-long river in southeastern New Hampshire, the United States. It rises in Meadow Lake in Northwood, and flows south, then generally east past Raymond, Epping, Lee and finally Newmarket. Here, it meets Great Bay, a tidal inlet of the Atlantic Ocean, to which it is connected by a tidal estuary, the Piscataqua River. The river from the Bunker Pond Dam in Epping to the confluence with the Piscassic River is part of the designated National Wild and Scenic River System.

Smuttynose Brewing Company

Smuttynose Brewing Company is a craft brewery that was founded in 1994 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. It is named after Smuttynose Island, one of the Isles of Shoals. Founded in 1994 by Peter Egelston as a joint partnership with Ipswich Brewery, Egelston quickly became the sole owner. In 2004, Smuttynose considered relocating to the historic mills in Newmarket, New Hampshire, but the deal fell through in late 2005.
