The Cooper River serves as a border between Cherry Hill and Haddon Township, Haddonfield Borough, and Lawnside Borough. The Cooper River (known upstream near Haddonfield as Cooper's Creek) was named after the Cooper family, who were some of the first European settlers in the area of Camden County, New Jersey.

Bishop Eustace Preparatory School
Bishop Eustace Preparatory School is a coeducational private high school in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey, which was founded in 1954 by the priests and brothers of the Society of the Catholic Apostolate. The school was named after Bishop Bartholomew J. Eustace, first bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Camden, where Pennsauken is located, and the school is overseen by the Camden Diocese. The school is a coeducational institution (prior to 1972, it was all-male) serving grades 9 to 12.
