36th Street (River Line station)

36th Street is a station on the River Line light rail system, located on 36th Street in Camden, New Jersey. The station opened on March 15, 2004. Southbound service from the station is available to the Camden waterfront. Northbound service is available to the Trenton Rail Station with connections to New Jersey Transit trains to New York City, SEPTA trains to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Amtrak trains. Transfer to the PATCO Speedline is available at the Walter Rand Transportation Center.

Pavonia Yard

Pavonia Yard is a rail yard in Camden, New Jersey. It was built by the Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) and opened in 1888. The yard was used to interchange with the West Jersey and Seashore Railroad (WJ&S) during 1896 to 1932, and with the Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines (P-RSL) during 1932 to 1976. Initially the PRR operated large locomotive and car repair shops at the yard. In later years the engine work was discontinued, but the car repair shops remained in operation through the late 1930s.

Woodrow Wilson High School is a four-year public high school in Camden, in Camden County, New Jersey, United States, serving students in ninth through twelfth grades as part of the Camden City Public Schools. As of the 2010-11 school year, the school had an enrollment of 969 students and 83.7 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.58:1. There were 522 students (53.9% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 22 (2.3% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Stockton Township, New Jersey

Stockton Township was a township that existed in Camden County, New Jersey, United States, from 1859 until its dissolution in 1899. Stockton Township was incorporated by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 23, 1859, from portions of Delaware Township. On March 3, 1874, the borough of Merchantville was formed from portions of the township. Pennsauken Township was established on February 18, 1892.

Petty Island

Petty Island (also Pettys Island; but typically spelled "Petty's Island" by area residents) is a 292-acre island located in the Delaware River, which forms the border between Pennsylvania and New Jersey in the United States. It is situated between the cities of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Camden, New Jersey, and can be seen from both the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and the Betsy Ross Bridge. It is the fourth-largest island in the Delaware River's path.
