South Bound Brook is a borough in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 4,563, reflecting an increase of 71 (+1.6%) from the 4,492 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 307 (+7.3%) from the 4,185 counted in the 1990 Census. \t What is now South Bound Brook was originally formed as a town within Franklin Township.

Ambrose Brook
Ambrose Brook is a tributary of Green Brook in Middlesex County, New Jersey in the United States. It rises underneath Route 27 in Edison. It then flows into Lake Papaianni. It continues flowing northwest, parallel to County Route 529. After crossing Route 529 and Ethel Road West, it forms a border to some businesses in Piscataway, including William Kenyon and Sons, Inc. Upon flowing into Lake Nelson, the brook takes a more westerly route into Ambrose Doty's Park.

Battle of Bound Brook
The Battle of Bound Brook (April 13, 1777) was a surprise attack conducted by British and Hessian forces against a Continental Army outpost at Bound Brook, New Jersey during the American Revolutionary War. The British objective of capturing the entire garrison was not met, although prisoners were taken. The American commander, Major General Benjamin Lincoln, left in great haste, abandoning papers and personal effects.

Bound Brook (NJT station)
Bound Brook is a New Jersey Transit railroad station on the Raritan Valley Line, in Bound Brook, New Jersey. The station building on the north side of the tracks is now a restaurant; the other station building on the south side is now privately owned. A pedestrian tunnel connects the south and north sides of the tracks. The Conrail freight main line (former Lehigh Valley) is a few yards south of the south platform. The station is at 350 East Main Street and was built in 1913.
