Hazlet, New Jersey

Hazlet is a township in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 20,334, reflecting a decline of 1,044 (-4.9%) from the 21,378 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn declined by 598 (-2.7%) from the 21,976 counted in the 1990 Census. What is now Hazlet Township was originally incorporated as Raritan Township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 25, 1848, from portions of Middletown Township.

Henry Hudson Trail

The Henry Hudson Trail (also known as the Bayshore Trail System) is a rail trail in New Jersey. The trail is named for Henry Hudson to honor the man who explored the harbor at Atlantic Highlands and the Raritan Bayshore coastline in the early 1600s. The trail is not near the Hudson River. The 24-mile-long, 10-foot-wide paved multi-use trail is part of the Monmouth County, New Jersey Park System.
