Jackson Township, named after Andrew Jackson, is a township in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township population had increased to a 54,856, The population increased by 12,040 (+28.1%) from the 42,816 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 9,583 (+28.8%) from the 33,233 counted in the 1990 Census.

El Toro (Six Flags Great Adventure)

El Toro, a Spanish term meaning The Bull, is a wooden roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey. Designed by Intamin of Switzerland, it opened to the public on June 11, 2006. Intamin also worked with members of Rocky Mountain Construction to build the ride. When it opened, it had the steepest drop of any wooden roller coaster in the world at 76 degrees, until the record was broken by T Express in 2008 by one degree.

Kingda Ka

Kingda Ka is a steel accelerator roller coaster located at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey, United States. It is the world's tallest roller coaster, the world's second fastest roller coaster, and was the second strata coaster ever built. Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point was the first. The train is launched by a hydraulic launch mechanism to 128 miles per hour in 3.5 seconds.

Blackbeard's Lost Treasure Train

Blackbeard's Lost Treasure Train is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson Township, New Jersey. It was opened in 1999. It is a smaller, family-oriented coaster. Its considered a Junior Coaster rather than a kiddie coaster because Adults can ride without a child and the restraints are slightly larger than that of a children's rollercoaster. Blackbeard's Lost Treasure Train has a single 20-car train, by far the longest in the park.
