As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 37,349, At 115.2 square miles of total area, Galloway Township is the largest municipality in the State of New Jersey. Galloway Township was incorporated by Royal Charter on April 4, 1774, from portions of Egg Harbor Township, when it was still part of Gloucester County.

Smithville, Atlantic County, New Jersey

Smithville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place located within Galloway Township, in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. Smithville is located 15 miles north of and inland from Atlantic City. As of the 2010 Census it had a population of 7,242. Although Smithville has been around since the American Revolutionary War, most of the community remained very rural until the 1960s when the Smithville Towne Center, a tourist attraction containing over 80 shops, opened.

Big Graveling Creek

Big Graveling Creek is a 2.9-mile-long tributary of the Mullica River in southern New Jersey in the United States. It is a narrow, meandering tidal channel (gut) through the salt marshes of the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, connecting the Mullica and Mott Creek.

Seaview (Galloway, New Jersey)

The Seaview is a golf club in Galloway, New Jersey. The club hosted the ShopRite LPGA Classic in 1986-87, from 1998-2006 and again starting in 2010. It also held the 1942 PGA Championship. The course also cooperates with Rutgers University on testing of new turf breeds and natural control of mosquitoes. The resort has two golf courses, known as the Bay and Pines Courses.
