Cochiti is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sandoval County, New Mexico, United States. It is part of the Albuquerque Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 528 at the 2010 census. Located 22 miles (35 km) southwest of Santa Fe, the community is a historic pueblo, which is listed as a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places.

Peña Blanca is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sandoval County, New Mexico, in the United States. As of the 2000 census, the CDP population was 661. It is part of the Albuquerque Metropolitan Statistical Area. Peña Blanca's name is derived from the Spanish term for "white rock", peña blanca. However, without the tilde, pena blanca actually means "white sorrow" or "white pain".

Kewa Pueblo, New Mexico

Kewa Pueblo, formerly known as Santo Domingo Pueblo, is an Indian pueblo and a census-designated place (CDP) in Sandoval County, New Mexico, in the United States. The pueblo is located approximately 25 miles southwest of Santa Fe, 4 miles west of Interstate 25. As of the 2000 census, the CDP population was 2,550. The CDP is part of the Albuquerque Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population of the pueblo is composed of Native Americans who speak an eastern dialect of the Keresan languages.

Dual-Axis Radiographic Hydrodynamic Test Facility

The Dual-Axis Radiographic Hydrodynamic Test Facility (DARHT) is a facility at Los Alamos National Laboratory which is part of the Department of Energy's stockpile stewardship program. It uses two large X-ray machines to record three-dimensional interior images of materials. In most experiments, materials undergo hydrodynamic shock to simulate the implosion process in nuclear bombs and/or the effects of severe hydrodynamic stress.

Tsirege

Tsirege (also Tshirege) is a classic Anasazi Pueblo archaeological site located north of Pajarito Road (now closed to the public) about one mile west of White Rock, New Mexico on property owned by Los Alamos National Laboratory. Tsirege consists of approximately 800 rooms, was occupied from c. 1325 to c. 1600, and is regarded by the people of San Ildefonso Pueblo as ancestral. The name means "bird place" in the Tewa language.
